Let our Nutritionist, Vanessa, dial in on how food can positively and negatively effect your performance for the endurance world. Her person-first approach to nutrition & fitness means she taks an in-depth look at the individual’s lifestyle, health history, goals, fitness level, daily schedule & life stress. Next, using a science-based approach, she designs customized programs based on the client’s personal metabolism & fitness goals. Calories, macronutrients or exercise protocol matter little when a client is overwhelmed by life. She might get personal, but she gets results.
Vanessa is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM, 4 years), CrossFit Level 3 Trainer, USAW-Certified Olympic Lifing Coach, Nutrition Counselor formerly Certified via American Fitness Professionals & Associates & member of the Center for Mindful Eating. Her nutrition programs are inspired by Westin A. Price Philosophies & Modern nutrition science led by experts such as Robert Lustig, Emeran Mayer, David Perlmutter, Gary Taubes, Mark Hyman & Barry Sears.
